In this internship, you'll work alongside our Service Specialist, aiding in carrying out the Service side of the business that feeds our Production team and operations.
This internship is for you if you have dabbled in 3D printing and are hungry and motivated to dig deeper and learn more of the intricacies of the process. You're a friendly, warm person who enjoys problem solving and interacting with various people throughout the day.
For our incoming interns with previous design experience, we offer a hybrid role sitting between service and design. This hybrid will teach you how to create and edit files so that they are ready for 3D printing with FDM and SLA 3D printing technologies in mind. You will learn the ins and outs of what is printable, what is required to print in various materials & technologies as well as skills in STL file repair.
This hybrid is for you if you have skills in 3D modeling, parametric and/or mesh modeling (both preferred). You have a wide range of skills in various programs, and are constantly intrigued by what 3D modeling and scanning can do. You think in meshes, extrusions, and booleans. And you're curious as to how your 3D modeling skills can foray a future into 3D printing.
